| ihe Christmas season was

officially ushered in at •JL Wakefield Country Day School in Flint Hill as the annual Christmas Concert entertained parents, friends, staff and the greater community Friday evening.

Led by choral director Regine Roger and band director Kerry Mandley, the show, dubbed “A Christmas Celebration,” featured grades one through seven singing classic favorites such as “God Rest You Merry Gentlemen” and “Feliz Navidad.”

Wakefield's upper school students who participate in the Wakefield Singers group performed “Breath of Heaven” and a glorious rendition of “Joy to the World "

First grade students who have been taking guitar lessons this year performed “Jingle Bells” and the band played “Ode to Joy.”

The evening concluded with a rousing finale of all grades singing “Christmas Carol Jamboree."

In keeping with the spirit of the season and Wakefield’s dedication to service, the evening began with the annual “Soup for Supper” sponsored by the school’s Key Club. The all-you-can-eat soup buffet
