Easter Cantata Be Given
Tomorrow Night
The church choirs of Washington, under the direction of Mrs. Catherine Wood Cahan, will prehtut an Faster Cantata for mixed voices, “The Everlasting Christ,” by R. C. Wilson, on Good Friday evening, April 7, 8:00. Lucy Mae Smith is accompanist.
Members of the choir are as follows: soprano—soloists: Miss Jo Ellen Worth, Mrs. Gene Wag^ier, Mrs. Barbara Gentry; sopranos: Mrs. Ora Ramey, Miss Jean Hawkins, Miss Alice Coughlin, Mrs. Carson Ander-on, Miss Phyllis Hudson, Miss Doris Fincham; alto voices—Miss E^jzabeth Racer, Mrs. M. E. Sliger, Miss Lois Racer, Miss Gladys Reid, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Miss Shirley Weaver, Miss Lucy Catherine Bowie; tenor soloist, Rev. N. J. Flythe, tenor voices, Rev. M. E. Sliger, Gerald Hicks; bass soloist, Lewis Turner.
This affords an unusual opportunity for the citizens of Rappahannock county, who enjoy good religious music. Everyone is extended an invitation to support this group by attendance on this occasion, commemorating the crucifixion of our Lord.
