Baseball
The ball diamond was scraped Wednesday, March 29, and every day the boys have been practicing hard.
The team will play Luray on Thursday, April 6 (today); Madison April 7, and Stanley at Stanley on March 11.
County News Notes
Miss Mary Rudasill spent the week end with her mother Mrs. R. L. Rudasill.
Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Keyser and son Billy, of Williamsburg, and Dr. Joe DeJarnette of Staunton, were Sunday guests of Mrs. W. L. Keyser and Joe D. Keyser.
Cary Fox of Brandy called on Mr. and Mrs. Albert Burke Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wayland of Alexandria spent. Saturday with the former’s sister, Mrs. R. M. Johnson. Mr. Johnson is still a patient in University Hospital, Charlottesville.
Miss Annie Miller Almond of Herndon, spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Miller in Flint Hill.
