Panthers Take Luray 6-2
The first game of the baseball season ended with a victory for the Panthers.
Through five innings Luray wa3 leading with one run, but then the Panthers got into the swing. Junior Martin started it off by knocking a double, Charles Scroggins sealed it by doing the same, bringing two runs in. From then on the Panthers stayed well ahead and ended the game with a 6-2 score.

The Seniors were very excited last week when they were told that their invitations had come. We have taken measurements for our caps and gowns. Some of the Seniors have been to the dentist this week. Mary Burke, Jo Ellen Worth and Mary Kay Fincham have received their dental certificates.
We are Very sorry that Virgil Lee, Dorothy Printz, and Jo Ellen should get sick when we are having such a "-good time in Economics, making illustrated booklets. Frank Goode was also sick last week.
Last Thursday in English class we ordered three plays to pick one out of the three for the Senior play this year.
