Meat House Robbed
At Amissville Tuesday
Sam Compton, of the Amissville neighborhood, found his meat (house robbed WJedneisday morning. He had 'heard no sound during the night but yesterday morning, about 11 or 12 pieces of meat were missing: five or six hams, four or five shoulders, and a piece of siding. Some of the hams .were very large ones.
Sheriff Lillard and State .Trooper Buntin were in the vicinity all day with blood hounds. Several trails were followed, and evidence in on®.spot showed where themeat had been dragged over a rail fence. The general belief is that the stolen meat was loaded into a car or truck.
Theatre Party
Mrs. D. C. Link entertained at a theatre party on Wednesday evening at the Washington Theatre in celebration of the tenth, birthday anniversary of her son, Danny Link.
