Recent Visitor at W.H.S.

Mr. Vanderslice of Strayer’s Business College in Washington, D. C., was a recent visitor of the Junior and Senior classes of the Washington High School.

Home Economics

On Friday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. a Home Economics meeting was held with president, Mary Kay Fincham presiding.

The president called the meeting to order and Carrol Williams gave the treasurer’s report. Dorothy Printz gave a talk on the F.H.A. and F.F.A. barbecue. It will be held in the near future at Hawksbill, Luray.

Officers for ’50 and ’51 were elected as follows:

President, Phyllis Hudson; V’ce president, Helen Nethers; secretary, Carol Williams; treasurer, Alice Coughlin; program chairman, Joyce Spicer; Reporter, Virginia Keyser; song leader, Delores Foster.

It was decided at this meeting that the delegates to attend the Madison Convention in June will be Virginia Keyser and Phyllis H'.dson.

After repeating the creed the meeting was adjourned.
