While others complain of the government, listen to the printer who also has his howl. We maintain that it is a violation of private enterprise when government printing runs into printing such things as envelopes. We make our living with job printing, and then we pay taxes to support the government printing office, which, of course, can print them much cheaper. Every business has its trade journal — farm magazines for the farmer, etc.—the printers’ journal is yelling for the printer. A cartoon appeared in the last issue showing, two men on a see-saw; postal printing heavily weighing down one side, and the private printer trying to bring his end of the see-saw down in order to reach the stack of money, $6,993,000 which was taken from the private printer by the government printing last year.

It’s a wonder all of us don't develop complexes. Somebody preaches about the terrifying literature found in comic books which the children read—they ain’t nothin' compared' with the city papers! Murders, horror stories, a woman kidnaps a baby from an incubator, and fake collectors are running around in Arlington saying they are representatives of the American Cancer Drive—what next'.’ As for people’s honesty, it’s no wonder the man said .he wouldn’t even trust his own brother now wit ho t a thorough investigation.
