Funeral services were held at Tiinity Episcopal church by the Rev. E. Guthrie Brown, and interment was ,in the family burial plot in Manassas cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers C. W. Lion, Jr., W. J. Lion, Harold H. Lion, Kenneth Lion, W. W. Stroup and J. L. Lion.
