Cap*. William Weiner was a guest for dinner of Joe Dejamett Keyser and mother, Mrs. Will Keyser of Mt. Preasant.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Woodward and Miss Corrie Scroggins, who have positions in Washington, D. C., were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Scroggins. Mrs. Daisy Scroggins of Winchester was also a weekend guest in the Scroggins home.
Miss Mary Burke of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Burke.
Miss Louise O’Bannon was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller of Maple Springs.
Miss Mary Norman Davis spent the weekend with her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. George H. Davis of Warrenton. On Saturday Miss Davis and David Gawler attended the football game between Stuyvesant and Caroline, with Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton. Mrs. Davis and family, George II and Dorothy Taylor motored to Warrenton Sunday evening and had supper with Dr. and Mrs. Davis and returned with Mary Norman later in the evening.
Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller was an overnight guest of Miss Caroletta Gough of “Echo Hill,” Sunday.
