Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Brown were Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Carder returned to their home in Fredericksburg Tuesday after a visit with Mr. Carder’s nieces, the Misses Johnson on Red Oak.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark were in Flint Hill for Sunday visiting Mrs. Clark’s sister. ' William Yancey and Mrs. L. C. Quaintance visited Mrs. W. T. Yancey in Charles Town, West Va. Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sill of Arlington spent Thursday with Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson.

Mrs. H. B. Wood and Mrs. L. C. Quaintance visited Mr. and Mrs. Brown Miller on Sunday to attend a birthday party ’for Mrs. Jinx Miller. Other guests for the party were Mrs. James W. Fletcher and children; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton and son; Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown Jr. and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Silas Miller, Mrs. Mildred Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and son.

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Johnson of Charlottesville spent the weekend with Mr. Johnson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.

Mrs. Florence Johnson and her sister, Mrs. George Gore spent last Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brown at Griffinsburg.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson were Misses Bessre Carder and Lillie and Nellie Johnson.
