Clifton Hill Jr., an outstanding third year Vocational Agricultural student, won the NFA Beef Cattle Trophy for the second time in three years. Otis Jordan, a second year Vo-Ag student won the NFA Dairy Cattle Trophy. Along with the trophies the boys received cash prizes. Mr. T. O. Maden won the silver cup for the sfccont? time in as many years for having the best exhibits in dairy cattle. The exhibitors of Culpeper County won the Johnson-Washington-Conyers award for having the largest number of entries of the four counties. We feel asured that the unquestionable placings of such competent judges as Mr. J. S. Settle, Mr. M.T. Carter and Mr. I. C. Peeples, (all of Virginia State College,) Mr. R. A. Brae/, J. R. Fleming, Lester Stevens, C R. Conyers, Mrs. J. R. Fleming, Mrs Gillum and Miss H. Ford added greatly to the success of this fair.
The choir of the First Baptist Church of Washington, will meet at the school, Friday, at 7:30 p.m. After the meeting there will be a rehearsal.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward- Bailey, Marie, Robert, Jeannette Bailey, and Charlie Pinkard attended the Ceorge Washington Carver and Charles Town ,West Virginia foothall game in Orange Saturday night. Carver won 19-0, Robert ^ Bailey is one of the players on Carver team. ,
