Foot Ballots Will Be Toted
Pictured here are the four ballots which will be handed to voters Tuesday, November 4. The presidential ballot lists five parties with their 12 electors, representing the 12 Virginia votes in the electoral college. Only one X goes on this ballot, in the box by -the name of the party of your choice.
The Congressional ballot is a vote for Senator and House of Representatives. Two X's go on this ballot; one for your choice for Senator; and one for your choice for House of Representatives.
The Constitutional Amendment is a request for approval from the people to change the State Constitution in order that Virginia may join her neighboring states in supporting a specified education project. The X on this ballot goes either “for” or “against.”
The ballot for Lieutenant-Governor is a request to fiill the unexpired term of the late Lieutenant-Governor. This ballot requires one X in the box beside the name of your choice
