Peace with honor is the greatest of all our goals..
We pledge our unremitting efforts to avert another world war. We are determined that the people shall be spared that frightful agony.
We are convinced that peace and security can be safeguarded if America does not deviate from the practical and successful policies developed under Democratic leadership since the close of World War II. We will resolutely move hhead with the constructive task of promoting peace.
