1VS.CS. MEETING
The Womans Society of Christian Service of the Filnt Hill Methodist Church met on Thursday evening in the home of Mrs. M. R. Bradford with twelve members present. Mrs. M. R. Bradford Jr. conducted the program. The subject was "Toward Complete Living." The W.S.C.S. will observe the “Day of Prayer Service” Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. at the church.
BIRTHDAY DINNER
Mrs. Gertie Fincham entertained on Saturday for dinner in h6nor of her grandson, Rannie Fincham, who celebrated his ninth birthday. Rannie had as his guests Mrs. Ned Settle and family, Betty Jean, Buddy and Jimmy. After dinner games were played and a good time was had by all.
CELEBRATES 87th BIRTHDAY
Dr. Jack Stuart was a week-end guest of his mother, Mrs. W. M. Stuart. Mrs. Stuart celebrated her 87th birthday, Saturday, October 25. She received many beautiful birthday cards and she sends thanks to all who were so kind as to remember her on her birthday.
