Asa W. Burke of Lydfts, Colorado was called home because of the death of his father, C. L. Burke. He arrived at the home of his brother, Judd Burke Friday. On Saturday morning Mrs. Jack Chadwell and sons, Ronnie and Jackie, Misses Marie and Mary Burke and Mr. Burke motored to Winchester. They were also visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Burke and family Monday evening. Mr. Burke left Tuesday evening for a few days visit with his brother, Charlie Burke and .family at Red Bank, New Jersey before returning to his home.
L. V. Merrill arrived home from Richmond, Wednesday, where he had been attending a meeting of The Automobile Trade Association since Monday.
