Will Meet Jointly
There will be a joint meeting of Washington Fire Company, Rappahannock Rescue Squad and the Ladies Auxiliary on Monday night, February 24 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the courthouse and all members are urged to attend. This is an Important business meeting.
The regular meeting of the fire company was held February 10 and plans for the forthcoming carnival in June were formulated. Proceeds from the carnival will be split 50-50 between the fire company and the rescue squad. Frank Louckes was named chairman of the parade committee. The grand prize to be given away at the carnival is a 1964 Ford and has been purchased from Merrill Motor Company, Washington.
Dance Will Benefit Sperryville Revelettes
A round and square Dance will be held at Sperryville Elementary School Auditorium on Friday, February 14th beginning at 8:30 p.m. for the benefit of the Sperryville Revelettes. Music will be by the Virginia Mountain Clan.
