Prices last week in the Richmond market closed mostly at $15.75. Top hogs in Virginia auctions ranged $15.50-$ 16.00 Chicago market prices last week closed at $ 15.00 -$ 16.00. Baltimore prices ranged from SI5.75-S16.25.
Veal
Within the next two or three weeks veal prices should begin to experience the usual seasonal downward trend. Prices this year generally are running from $3.50-$4.00 below prices last year. Average prices last week at Virginia auctions were: choice and prime $34.80, good $31.50 and standard $27.70.

Orville Freeman, Secretary of Agriculture, has accepted the chairmanship of the Montgomery County” Division of the $3,181,000 Boy Scout Capital Campaign. Admiral Arleigh A. Burke, USN (Retired) Gensral Chairman .of the, Campaign made the appointment.
