John Weaver who was recently made assistant manager of Fred Astaire Studio in Washington has just returned from a business trip to Puerto Rico and is leaving this week for Nassau. Mrs. J. N. Miller and Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. spent Monday in Falls Church and Fairfax. Cadet Milton Clay Gore of R, M. A. spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gore. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock were Mrs. Brock’s brother’andfam ily Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamer, Bill and Barbara Hamer of Bethesda, and two Eagle Scouts James Holthaus and Wesley Carson. Mr. Hamer, who is Scout Master in Bethesda, and the Scouts were interested in looking over a possible Scout site at Trails End Mountain Ranch where area Scouts might qualify for Merit Badges in horsemanship.
Mrs. Jack Petty, two daughters Misses Carroll Anne and Kay and son Jimmy Petty and Miss Patty Ring, all of Front Royal, were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke.
