Four home demonstration clubs had the demonstration, Basic Sewing Techniques,during the last week. Mrs. C. R. Priest and Mrs. Stanley Settle were hostesses for the Amissville meeting on Monday night at the Fire Hall. The Castle ton home demonstration club enjoyed a covered dish luncheon meeting with Mrs. Morrell Magarity, on Tuesday. Mrs.H. B. Wood, Sr. was hostess for the Woodville club on Thursday afternoon and the Sperryville Club met with Mrs. Arnold Sorrells on Thursday eve nlng. The demonstration highlighted basic techniques which would help the homemaker achieve a professional look in her sewing: Miss Catherine Perry worked with me on Thursday making further plans for the rug making schools. They will be held on March 4, and 5; the hooked rugs will be «*nade on March 4, and the braided rugs on March 5.
