Miss Moore, 19, now a sophomore in home economics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute hopes to turn her 4-H experiences in .public speaking and foods-nutrition into a vocation as a home economics teacher.
Miss Douglas, 20, has continued her study of foods at Virginia Polytechnic Institute where she is now a junior.
And 4-H experiences led Miss Huffman, 17, to experiment with new canning methods which in turn took her to the top state canning award and the expense-paid trip to the National 4-H Club Congress held in Chicago.
Miss Douglas, too, received a Chicago trip award.
General Poods Corporation provided Miss Douglas’ trip, and Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corporation sponsored Miss Huffman.
