Rector and daughter Raye Rector to Culpeper to visit Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Brown and Mrs. A, B. Beahm. Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Wayland are spending a leave with Mr.

and Mj£. J. E. Wayland and other relatives here. Mr. Way. land is being transferred from Yorktown to Philadelphia. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson, Jr. and son Tracy of Alexandria were dinner guests Sunday of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and also visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson. S/Sgt. and Mrs. J. E. Swindler and family of Manassas were weekend guests of Mr. Swindler’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler. Natalie and Jimmie Swindler remained for a visit with their grand' parents. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar were Mr. and Mrs. Kelton S. Virnelson of Arlington and Arvin Keiter of Norfolk. The Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson of Fork Union spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Rev. Thompson was here to conduct the funeral service of Jesse Clater.
