Thousands of self-employed farmers and their dependents have retired with social securi* ty benefits in the years since 1954 when Congress extended coverage to this group. Today another 4 1/2 million people who depend upon farming for a livelihood are building social security protection against the loss of income resulting from old age, disability or death. While urging farmers in this area to file prompt and accurate Income and earnings reports for 1963. Mrs. Hazel F.
