Mrs. Henry Brown entertained at a surprise birthday dinner for Mr. Brown on Suni day at their hbme near Woodville. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown and children of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown and Maury Brown, Jr., Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. Helen Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland Later, Mrs. Donald Osborne and family of Gainesville joined the party. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland of Arlington were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wayland. Mrs. Perle Coffey has returned from Woburn, Mass, where she visited Mrs. Joseph Romaine, called there by the death of Mr. Romaine. She also visited her relatives, Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan. Sunday guests of Mrs. Coffey were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and daughters of Flint Hill and Abe Burke of Washington. On Sunday evening Mrs. Coffey accompanied Mr. and Mrs.
