Edward A. Harris & Associates, realtors of Huntly, announce the sale of the 302 acre farm near Flint Hill owned by Hunter L. Lake of Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. George E. Hamilton III of Washington, D. C. The Hamiltons have been renting a guest house on the estate of Mrs. Leila Noyes at Huntly, but plan eventually to build a country home on their new acreage. ~Mr. Hamilton is an attorney with the family law firm, Hamilton & Hamilton, with offices in the Union Trust Building in Washington. Joseph J. Scherschel, wellknown photographic expert for the National Geographic Society, and formerly a photographer for Life Magazine, has bought the 143-acre family farm of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, proprietors of Bradford’s General Store in Flint Hill. The farm, located on State Road 729 about two miles from Flint Hill, includes a quaint old farmhouse which Mr. Scherschel, who is unmarried, plans to remodel. The acreage embraces a plateau-like area atop a mountain with far views in all directions.
