Getting forages into storage at harvest and out to livestock during the winter feeding period can be a hard and time consuming task. Also the cost handling forages can be high. Mr. Kite, Agriculture Engineer of VPI will be on the program of the Extension School to be held at Rappahannock High on February 10th. His topic - “Reducing Forage Handling Costs*. If you are short of labor, pushed in getting the winter chores done, this could be an opportunity to learn alternative methods that would solve this problem.
