Mr. ana Mrs. w. o. tastham were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Edwin Eastham. In the afternoon they visited Mrs. Walter Grimsley in Fauquier County and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Eastham at Hume. Herbert Foster entered Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D. C. on Sunday and underwent eye surgery on Monday. He was accompanied to Washington by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster and Mrs. Foster. Mrs. F. W. Spalding was hostess to the Washington BBldgq„Cluh.Oh Thursday evening? with all members present Prizes were awarded to Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Mrs. Rayner Snead and Mrs. L. J. Turner. Mrs. Bobbie Hawkins and daughter, Connie of Arlington were weekend guests of Mrs. Hawkins’ mother, Mrs. Ruth Lillard. J. G. Russell will enroll at Madison College in Harrisonburg for the second semester transferring from the Medical College of Virginia, School of Pharmacy, in Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Patterson Biggs of Harrisonburg spent the weekend with Mrs. Thelma Russell.
