The theme of the 1965 Crusade will be “1,300,000 Americans are Cured of Cancer; to Help Cure More, Give More,* supplementing the Society’s slogan, “Fight Cancer with a Checkup and a Check." As the 1965 State Crusade Chairman, Buck will speak to volunteers from throughout the 'State at a Crusade Leaders Conference to be held in Richmond, January 28-29. Attending the two-day meeting will be presidents and key Crusade leaders of the Society’s 103 Local Units in Virginia. At that time plans for the public education and fund-raising phases of the 1965 Crusade will be presented.
