Wow, what a relief to be over examinations; however, .we are still awaiting grades. Many students are working at Skyline Ski Area on weekends. Among those working , are; Gloria Durden; Ned Moffett Jones; Jimmy Jenkins; Maureen Jenkins; Becky Rector; William Smoot; Cecil Pullen; and one teacher, Mr. Hamby. There are a lot of sleepy-heads on Monday morn ings!!! Pat Alther missed school Wednesday, when asked if he felt better on Thursday, he replied, “Oh! I went to see L.B.J." The flu bug had our own MiE»vZinn last week. She was missed greatly. The Panther Varsity played Elkton the 22nd, on the home . court. Elkton only won by It points. So, cheer up we may win a game yet! The J.V. did win over Elkton with a score of 45-36. Carl Clarke made 15 of Rap..pahannock’s points. This was their third win of the season. The S.C.A. met last week and discussed plans for areal super Valentine’s Party. The theme this year will be “Deapheart". The candidates for Sweetheart Queen are; Sharor Suter, 8th; Elenor Rector, 9th; Shirley Dodson, 10th; Ann Deal 11th; and Linda Beahm, 12th. Imminent Conversion— A party of clergymen were attending a Presbyterian conference in Scotland. Several of them set off to explore the district. Presently they came to a river with a temporary bridge. Not seeing a notice that said it was unsafe, they began to cross it. The Bridge Keeper ran after them in protest.

‘It is all right", declared the spokesman not understanding the reason for the old man’s haste, “we’re Presbyterians from the conference.” “I’m no caring about that," was the reply, “but if ye dinna get off the bridge you’ll all be Baptists!"
