Mi68 Dana Snead arrived Monday evening to spend a week’s semester break from Mary Washington College with her parents Judge and Mrs. Rayner Snead.
Capt. J. S. Willis joined Mrs. Willis at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller on Wednesday and was accompanied by little Miss Betsy Horsman. Mrs. Willis and two children have been visiting at Mt. Prospect for the past two weeks. The Willis family will return to their home in Latham, N. Y. this week-end. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Dudley of Alexandria were diners Saturday at Skyline Ski Lodge and later called on Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller. Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and two children were weekend guests of Mrs. Lea's mother Mrs. Thomas Howie in Staunton. Miss Annie Cooksey spent Monday as. the guest of Mrs. Ethel Cooksey in Amissville. Mr. and Mrs. William M. Carrigan of Washington, D. C. were at their home Avon Hall during the weekend. Mrs. William M. Fletcher was the guest last weekend of Mrs. Charlotte Wimbish in Richmond. Mrs. Fletcher's return was del ayed by the heavy snow fall in Richmond. Senator Curry Ca r t e r of Fisherville was a caller Friday of his sister, Mrs. W. F. Moffett and several other relatives.
