Guests during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Pate Tharp were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tharp and daughter Peggy of Edinburg, Mr. ahd Mrs. Haywood Wharton and Mr. and Mrs, William Wharton and children Brenda and Glen of Amissville, John Tharp and children Mark and Debbie of Manassas, Lawrence Horner, Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Williams of Washington, Va. Jennette and Cynthia Beebe, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. George Beebe are ill with flu. Mrs. Marion Scott was admitted to Culpeper Hospital Sunday night for treatment. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Scott were Mr. and Mrs. Eulis Scott and son Kenny of Culpeper. Miss Ellen Gore, a student at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, is spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore. Mr. Gore entered Fauquier Hospital Friday and remains a patient there.

Bridge Party

Mrs. Joe L. Jenkins was hostess to the Flint Hill Bridge Club on Monday evening with Mrs. B. J. Wood as additional guest. Prizes were won by Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. T. L. East-' ham and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr.
