RCHS Graduates
Hear Dr. Hill
Dr. Samuel D. Hill, Instructor of Education, made the address to the graduates of Rappahannock County High School at commencement exercises held Friday evening at the school. He presented the thirty-five g r ad ua t e s their diplomas. The Rev. James Harrison, pastor of Amissville Methodist Church, gave the invocation and benediction. Janice Dodson welcomed the parents and friends of the graduates and Patrick Alther gave the history of the class through its high school year% Following this Dorothy Reeve Lfe&ke told of the plans of the students after commencement. The valedictory address was made by Virginia Yates Bradford and in closing the program, the lamp of knowledge was presented to the Junior class to carry on. The school choir sang sew eral selections as well as the junior and senior classes.

Feted with Luncheons
Members of the Rappahannock County High School faculty were hosts to the faculties of Sperryville and Washington Elementary Schools at a luncheon Saturday in the high school cafeteria. In addition to the teachers, Superintendent O. A. Norton and Dr. Samuel D. Hill, resigning Instructor of Education were present. Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance entertained at luncheon Saturday at Hampton Inn honoring the faculties of Washington and Sperryville Elementary schools. Her guests included Mrs. Frances Lyne, Mrs. Arlene Wake, Mrs. Dorothy Spicer, Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mrs. Christine Johnston, Mrs. Matilda Walker, Mrs.AnnKeyser, Mr6. Juliette Johnson, Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Mrs. Annie Cooke, Mrs. Ethel Ramey, Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Mrs. Ruth Perkins, Mrs. Betty Wood, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey.
