(This is the way prospects for Virginia farm prices looked to the I irginia Dept, of Agriculture on Friday. The Department offers it to one can predict prices and be right farmers with the warning that no all the time.) Egg prices during June are expected to show seasonal strength with some adjustments— if the pattern over the past several years for this month is repeated. Sales of eggs to breakers and the military, exports to Canada and Puerto Rico and continued brisk movement into storage are strengthening factors. During the first half of June last year prices on large eggs in Virginia moved from 28 to 33 cents, and mediums moved from 20-1/2 to 27 cents. Supplies of eggs during June should remain at about last year’s level.
