Mr. and Mrs. JohnS. Browning and John B. Browning a 11 e n d e d Commencement exercises Sunday at the University of Virginia. Their son and brother Edgar K. Browning was a member of the graduating class. Other friends attending were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Palmer of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eastham and Miss Lucy Beale Eastham, 'of Washington, D. C.
Edgar Browning returned home with his parents on Sunday after graduation at U. Va. and left Monday for Hartford, Conn, where he will be a member of the Traveler’s Insurance Trainee Program for the summer.
Marvin R. Bradford, III and Davis Drabaugh of Baltimore, both of V. P. I. spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. Bradford’s parents. Mrs. Bradford's additional guests for luncheon were Miss Jaque Green of Markham and Lt. and Mrs. Dudley Wood.
The Official Board of the Methodist Church will meet June 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. The Homemaker's Club will meet at the Fire Hall on Tuesday, June 15. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Corbin of Annandale were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster.
Miss Rebecca Duncan ©f Front Royal was the guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spaulding and attended the Charles - Wood wedding. Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Settle of Parkersburg, W. Va. were guests for the week-end of Mrs. James M. Settle. On Sunday they all attended funeral services for Mrs. C. P. Amory in Newport News. Miss Charlotte A. Moore of Falls Church spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore and attended the Charles-Wood wedding. Miss Dorothy Moore has finished the school year at Madison College and is at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moore. Trooper and Mrs. Paul Dicks and daughter Paula moved dui^l ing the weekend to their newi home in Luray.
