Mrs. Robert Wines was hostess at a Stork shower in honor of Mrs. Geneva Clark at Mrs. Wine*8 home in Chester Gap Wednesday night, June 2. Others present were Mrs. Nora Sealock, Mrs. Evelyn Hickerson, Mrs. Maybelle Git key, Mrs. Odessa Campbell and daughter Peggy, Mrs. Anna Williams, Mrs. Marie Williams and Miss Nancy Wines. Bernie Burnette of Richmond visited Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams Wednesday evening. Mrs. Harold Davis and Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey attended a training meeting for the Home Demonstration Club in Flint Hill last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey, Bert, Kim and Kelly, Mrs. Stanley Williams, Mrs. Estelle Priest, Ray and Joe, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams, Stan and Mike, Raymond Sibert, Ray and Patty and Jerry Williams enjoyed a picnic Sunday afternoon at Bing Crosby Stadium. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Charles of Arlington spent the weekend at their home here. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis spent Tuesday of this week in Bethesda, Md. Among the friends from a distance who attended the funeral of Owen D. Sealock last Thursday were Mrs. Giles Fox and mother Mrs. Wright of Richmond, Mrs. Vivian Sprlngman, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Williard of Maryland.
