This fiscal year through April 30, Farmers Horne Administration has advanced $5,586,876 to senior Citizens for construction, buying and repairing of individual homes. The total loaned is up 17 percent over a similar period last fiscal year. Over 1,200 elderly people in the 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands were able to get loans for new or improved housing through the senior citizen rural housing program of Farmers Home Administration.
