Ivan C. Cooper

Ivan C. Cooper, 44, of Trafalgar, Ind., died May 29, 1965 at the Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, Ind. Born in Viewtown, son of Mrs. Rebecca L. Cooper of Woodbridge and the late Julius E. Cooper, he was engaged in farming in Indiana for the past 15 years. He enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1942 and served for three years. He was wounded while participating in the Normandy Invasion. He was a member and deacon of Providence Christian Church of Bargersville, Ind., a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Trafalgar, American Legion No. 416, Ridge Riderr Saddle and Indiana Saddle Horse Association.

Survivors in addition to his mother, are his wife, Mrs. Florence Jean Paris Cooper; one brother, William Allen Cooper of Amissville, and two sisters, Mrs. Harold M. Walker of Woodbridge and Mrs Thomas J. Dennis of Alexandria.

A funeral service was held June 2 in Franklin, Ind., with the Rev. Scott Simer and the Rev. Rollin Hill officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, -

Mrs. Ida Bessie Brady

Mrs. Ida Bessie Brady, 86, of Flint Hill died in Warren Memorial Hospital, Tuesday June 8, 1965. She was the widow of William S. Brady. Mrs. Brady had recently been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard in Front Royal. A daughter of George W. Pullen and Catherine Clark Pullen, she was a native of Rappahannock “County. Survivors include three brothers, Clifton and Clarence Pullen of Flint Hill and Edgar Pullen, Washington, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Virgil Wilson, Flint Hill. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Flint Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. James B. Grimmer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Haywood, Herbert, Arthur, and Moffett Pullen and Frank Brady. Friends and relatives may call at Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal until noon Friday.
