The R.C.H.S. Cross Country Team will attend the invitational meet at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University at BlacksbuFg on November 6, 1971 at l p.m. This is for Group A or Group AA schools and the local top runners will participate. A cadi donation of $50 has been made to the Cross Country Team to be used for uniforms and shoes. The Warren County Wildcats, with a combination of good running and the absence of Rappahannock’s number three runner, beat the Panthers in a rematch of the Panther’s first meet of the year. The meet was held on Rappahannock’s new 2.0 mile course at Blue Rock Farm on October 20. The Wildcats won 2431, the same score they were defeated by in their earlier meet with Rappahannock.
