‘Meet Candidates’
Assembly Tonight
The Rappahannock Citizens Association will sponsor “Meet Your Candidate’’ meetings tonight in Hampton, Wakefield and Stonewall-Hawthorne districts. No meetings will be held in Jackson or Piedmont as the candidates for supervisor in these districts are unopposed. The meetings will be held at 8 p.m. tonight at the following places; Hampton at.the Washington Court House, where Newbill Miller and Clarence Baldwin have been invited; Wakefield at the Flint Hill firehouse, where Herbert Foster and Walter Williams have been invited; Stonewall-Hawthorne at the Castleton firehouse, where Norman Wilbur and H. B. Wood, Jr. have been invited.
These meetings will provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to ask questions so that the views and beliefs of all the opposed candidates will be well known to the voters on election day, November 2. The Association hopes that all the invited candidates will be present and urges all concerned citizens of Rappahannock County to be present.
