Mrs. Edward Payne of Alexandria spent last weekend with her mother, Mrs. Catherine Brown. On Sunday Mrs. Brown and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. were guests of Mrs. Estelle Leake in Luray.

Mrs. Della B. Howard has returned to her apartment after several weeks in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Derderian of Cherry Hill, N. J. and her great-granddaughter, Kelly Aylor of Arlington were weekend guests. Mr. Derderian and Kelly Aylor returned to their respective homes Sunday and Mrs. Derderian remained to be with her mother. Mrs. W. H. Cordle and son Louis left for Lutherville on Monday due to the death of Mrs. Cordle's brother-in-law, Fenton Cordle. Mrs. John Valentine of Cranford, N.J. is a houseguest of her brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance. Dr. Quaintance and Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer were in Williamsburg over the weekend to attend Homecoming at the College of William and Mary. Mrs. Nelson Nethers is a patient in Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville.
