He is a real estate broker and a farmer and is active in numerous civic organizations. Mr. Miller is a member and Vestryman of Trinity Episcopal Church and member of Washington Volunteer Fire Department. He has been a member and chairman of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors for eight years.
Mr. Miller is the son of D. D. Miller of Washington and the late Mrs. Miller and is married to the former Carol Hodgkins Beard. They have three sons and reside in Washington, Va.
