Donna Faye Cannon had the Champion Senior Angus heifer of the Spotlight Show and Sale held at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Monday, October 28. Her heifer was one of the four finals to try for the Grand Champion and was sold for $625 to Buffalo River Ranch. Donna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon, El Rancho Grande Farm of Castleton.

On UN Action
Washington-Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson made this comment on the United Nations action approving membership for mainland China and expelling Nationalist (Taiwan) China:
“I was disappointed and concerned by the action.
“Apart from the question of providing representation for the people of mainland China, the fact remains that the people of Taiwan, numbering more than the populations of many United Nations member states, have done nothing to deserve being barred from the world community. “As to Congressional reaction, I tninx u iixely that tne Congress now will be inclined to take a sterner view of United State? financial support for the United Nations, and I believe this is warranted in the circumstances.”
