Mrs. Minnie Woodward A funeral service for Minnie Mae Woodward, wife of Joseph Turner Woodward of Amissville, was held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Joseph F. Stirman, jr. of Amissville. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jefferson ton. Mrs. Woodward, 72, died October 22, 1971, in Culpeper. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Carter and the late Addie Lee Doffin of Fauquier County. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter by this marriage, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Gough of Amissville. By her former marriage to the late Andrew Jackson Willingham, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Margaret F. Mahoney of Chester Gap and Mrs. Virginia Mae Wines of Greenbelt, Md., and two sons, Franklin Lee Willingham of Orlean and Robert Lawrence Willingham of Warrenton. Pallbearers were Graham Hackley, Charlie Compton, Clifton Nethers, Richard Latham, Dale Gough and Silas O’Bannon. ^
Mitt Ellie Mae Huff
Miss Ellie Mae Huff died October 20, 1971 in the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Winchester. She was 92, a native of Rappahannock County, and the daughter of the late John Franklin Huff and the late Elizabeth Houghton.
A funeral service was held last Friday at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, conducted by the Rev. H. H. Hughes. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Acting pallbearers were Brue Wood, Charles Wood, H. S. Barksdale, Aubrey North, Charlei Huff and Otho Ramsey.
Survivors include two nieces. Mrs. B. B. Williams, Huntly and Mrs. Joseph Flynn of Washington D. C.; and one nephew, Lawrence Huff of Front Royal.
