Richmond spent the holiday weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and son, Freddie.

Mrs. Lucille Eheart and Miss Madaline Eheart of Arlington were guests Thursday of Mrs. Clarice Clark and Harry Singleton. Arthur McLean of Greenville, Tenn. spent the weekend with his cousin, Mrs. Lee Swindler and son Bill. Jimmy Devers of Front Royal spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers. Greg and Tony Wayland were also Saturday overnight guests and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers joined them for dinner Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Rollins of Mahwah, N.J. were luncheon guests last Wednesday of Mrs. Harald Havstad and son Peter. Sherri Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown, was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor in Culpeper.

Houseguests this week of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar are Mr. Pillar’s sister, Mrs. E. Tinsley Amis of Norfolk and her daughter, Mrs. Forrest L. Guth of Wilmington, Del.

J. Earle Wayland returned home last Wednesday following surgery at McGuire Hospital in Richmond. Sgt. and Mrs. George Ritter and son Mike of Hampton were guests of the Waylands on Sunday.

Mrs. Charles F. Dodson returned home from Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville last week and her sister, Mrs.
