Mr. and Mrs. Robert Arnentrout accompanied by Mr. ind Mrs. Didc Wiltshire of Pur:ellville and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gantt of Vienna spent the weekend ;n Blacksburg and attended the rech-Ohio State football game. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne accompanied by Miss Mauri Raney if Flint Hill spent the weekend in Blacksburg and attended home coming festivities. Monday evening the Paynes were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Giles in Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones and daughter Courtney spent two days last week at Surf City, N. C. Disgusted with the everlasting (so it seemed) rain the returned home earlier than planned. Mrs. Ethel Cooksey accompanied Fred Cooke of Viewtown to Griffinsburg Thursday to visit Mrs. Annie Latham who is in a nursing home there.
Mrs. Ruth Corbitt returned to her home Saturday after spending two weeks with her step-son Ralph Mays and Mrs. Mays in Charlotte, N. C.
