Col. Wilbur is married to the former Lanell Brooke and they have two children, Norma Lee, 17 and Eric, 10. He is engaged in farming and as Director of Transportation and Attendance office of Culpeper County Schools. He is a Deacon in Slate Mills Baptist Church. He attended North Western University, University of Hawaii, University of Maryland and the Air Academy at Maxwell Field.
Henry B. Wood jr., 39, of Woodville is seeking the Board seat in Stonewall also. He is a life resident of Rappahannock and is a farmer and orchardist. He is married to the,, former Qetty Blanton of Amelia who tatight Home Economics at Rappahannock County High School. They have a son Henry B. Wood III, four years old. No opposition confronts the candidates for seats on the Board of Supervisors from Piedmont or Jackson Districts. Mrs. Betty Coates of Sperryville is a Rappahannock native, 36 /ears old, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead jr. of Sperryville. Mrs. Coates is a senior at Madison College, Harrisonburg, majoring in Speech Pathology. She is the wife of James W. Coates; they have two daughters and live at Sperryville.
