No Injuries Occur

Two vehicles were involved in a collision October 21 at 6:15 p.m. on Route 211 four miles west of Sperryville. A 71 Ford pickup owned and operated by Homer E. Tutweiler of Culpeper and a 69 Chevrolet operated by Winfield Garland Peyton jr. of Luray crashed on a curve. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Peyton skidded on a curve and went into the third lane. The vehicle he was driving was owned by Sabau Chevrolet in Luray and damage to its was estimated at $900. Damage to the pickup was set at 9600. Peyton was charged with reckless driving.
David Edwin Ricketts of Washington operating a 63 Ford was involved in a single vehicle crash at 11:50 p.m. Saturday. He ran off the left of the street in the Town of Washington, scoured through a ditch and onto the sidewalk. He was cited fer reckless driving, by Trooper Buntin who estimated damages at $250. A single vehicle crash occurred in Flint Hill about 9:30 p.m. October 25. Linda Lee Dawson of Flint Hill operating a 70 Mercury lost control of the car, spun around in the road and went into the ditch. No injuries resulted, according to investigating officer J. B. Willis. She was charged with reckless • driving.
A collision occurred in Amissville during the weekend but details were not available at press time.
