My yoke is kindly, my load is light.” When I see the word YOKE it makes me think of my younger days back on my father’s farm. A portion of verse fourteen in Chapter six of Secone Corinthians gives this advice, “Do not become unevenly yoked--.” Well, my father owned two gray mules, one was a real worker the other was willing to let her. If you didn’t watch the slack chain on the double-tree you would find that sometimes Old Jim’s chain had drooped down while Maud’s looked like it was about to break. Now that is what I would call “Unevenly yoked.”
