enour was bridesmaid. Their gowns were of hot pink quiana featuring an empire waist, square neckline, long bell sleeves and a tiered skirt. They carried nosegays of mixed summer flowers and wore matching floral headpieces. Aubrey North Sr. served his son as best man and Dabney Hughes Eastham of Flint Hill was the usher.
The bride’s mother wore a street length jacket dress of blue polyester with a corsage of yellow carnations. Mrs. North wore an aqua print dress and jacket ensemble for her son’s wedding. Her flowers were pink carnations.
A reception followed at the American Legion ballroom in Front Royal where the wedding cake was served by Mrs. Jeanett Jett and Mrs. Susan Dysart. Miss Cindy Gulick and Miss Peggy Frazier presided over the punch service. Attending the guest book was Mrs. Judi Burke while Miss Rhonda Pindell tended the gifts. Mrs. Hallie Beatty provided piano music.
When the couple left for a trip to Niagra Falls and Canada, the bride and bridegroom wore matching vested suits and she had a corsage of white baby carnations. They will make their home in Charlottesville where Mr. North is employeed with the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company.
Pre-nuptial entertainment included a bridal shower given by Mrs. Judi Burke and Ms. Bonnie Gore of Huntly; a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. Theresa Ritenour and Mrs. Joan Athey and a bridal shower hosted by Mrs. Pauline Brown, all of Front Royal.
