Attention was also called to some drastic changes that have been made to the trout fishing regulations in Henry County. In that portion of the Smith River in Henry County from signs below the east bank of Towne Creek for a distance of three miles downstream, trout may be taken using only artificial lures with single, barbless hooks. The daily creel limit in this portion of the Smith River is one trout per day, and the trout must be twelve inches or more in length.
