Mental Retardation Services also contracts with New Hope School and Camp Tapawingo to provide opportunities for clients. In addition, a psychologist, social worker, and coordinator maintain contact with people from the community who are in institutions. They attempt to link up mentally retarded citizens with the various services available in the community. Also, a special program helps place mentally retarded foster children in trained and specia y supervised foster homes.
